Classes, Courses & Workshops
Cirencester Summer Foraging Course
These courses will be held around the beautiful Bathurst Estate which promises to be a foragers delight.
We’ll meet at the Tunnel House Inn, a charming 18th Century Cotswolds Inn on the outskirts of Cirencester. The course starts with a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes.
Then we’ll set off on a roughly 2.5 hour walk teaching you how to identify the different edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms that we find.
We'll stop along the way for some homemade refreshments such as our lovely wild food soup or elderflower champagne.
After the walk we will head back to the pub for a tasty wild food lunch based on what we have found. This will include some treats made from our recent finds and a wild salad that we will pick on the day.
We will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt.
There are limited spaces available so please book your tickets online.
