The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald: Main Hero Logo

It's only three weeks now until we reveal the winners of our first Health and Social Care Awards.

We want to recognise the talent and dedication of those heroes who work in the industry, particularly in this incredibly testing year.

The aim of the awards, which we are running in partnership with Wasdell Group, is to champion those teams and individuals that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for people during the Covid pandemic.

Our finalists were chosen by a panel of judges and the winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony broadcast live on our Facebook page - facebook.com/swindonadvertiser - on May 27 at 7pm.

Pete Gavan, the editor of the Swindon Advertiser, Wiltshire Times and Gazette and Herald, said: "The people who work in the health and social care industry have always been an inspiration, not just during the pandemic, and these awards are our way of thanking them for their incredible dedication and skill."
