BOURNEMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL TOWN CENTRE ACCESSIBILITY PHASE 2 – HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Bournemouth intends to make
temporary traffic regulations, with the effects
detailed below to control traffic.
Highway improvement works by Bournemouth
Borough Council are scheduled for a 4 month
period from April to July 2018, and will
included the restrictions below, dates shown
are anticipated and subject to change.
No parking – no waiting at any time and no
loading/unloading at any time (suspension of
payment parking places, street parking places,
motorcycle parking places and disabled bays) on
• Bourne Avenue, southern side from the
eastern end of the payment parking place
bay for a distance of approximately 30
metres in a westerly direction – 01/05/18
to 08/06/18
• Braidley Road:
• western side for the full length of the
payment parking place bay adjacent to
the town hall – 01/05/18 to 31/07/18
• both sides of the road immediately south
of the Town Hall Extension car park
entrance to include the motorcycle parking
place, payment parking places and
disabled bays – 11/06/18 to 24/07/18
• western side for the full length of the
payment parking place bay adjacent to the
Town Hall Annexe – 11/06/18 to 24/07/18
• eastern side, the street parking place bay
immediately north of the junction with
St Stephen’s Way, for a distance of
approximately 20 metres – 08/06/18 -
24/07/18
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will
be maintained, access to properties will
remain.

The works are phased and these arrangements
may be amended or extended should works
overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
