The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way,
or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be
made by 13/04/2018 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered

The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of West Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank
Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No.2) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and
the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2016
by revoking Map Schedule Nos. EO30, EP29, EP30 and EQ30 dated 29 July 2016 and replacing them by the insertion of revised
Map Schedule Nos. EO30, EP29, EP30 and EQ30 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To remove No Waiting at any time
on Church Street – east side – i) from a point 59 metres south of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 61 metres south
of that junction; ii) from a point 56 metres north of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 86 metres north of that junction;
Church Street – west side – from a point 18 metres north of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 28 metres north of
that junction; Church Street – north west side – from a point 74 metres north east of its junction with The Knap to a point
88 metres north east of that junction; b) To introduce No Waiting at any time on Church Street – east side - from a point
22 metres south of its junction with St Michaels Close to a point 23 metres south of that junction; Devizes Road – south side –
from its junction with Church Street to a point 32 metres east of that junction; Devizes Road – north side – from a point
9 metres east of its junction with Church Street to a point 33 metres east of that junction; Trowbridge Road – south side –
from its junction with Church Street to a point 43 metres south west of that junction. Deposit copies of the Order, plans and
Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County
Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Trowbridge Library,
Ground Floor, County Hall, Trowbridge during the hours of 8.30am to 7pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Tuesday and Wednesday and 9am to 5pm Saturday until 16 April 2018. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.
gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Pedestrian Crossing - Hither Way, Lacock
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
proposes the installation of a Zebra Pedestrian Crossing in Hither way, Lacock at a point 20 metres south west of its junction
with High Street. A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council,
County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Melksham
Library, Lowbourne, Melksham between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to
7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 16 April 2018. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/
troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made, should be sent in writing or
via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 16 April 2018 quoting reference LJB/TRO/LACO/HY296.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) West Street,
Trowbridge; from its junction with A366 Wingfield Road to its junction with Gloucester Road to enable Wessex Water to
undertake separation works. Alternative route via Gloucester Road – Stallard Street – Wingfield Road and vice versa. This Order
will come into operation on 16 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 18 April 2018. For further

its junction with Wine Street for a distance of approximately 100m in a north-easterly direction to enable BT Openreach to
undertake works to install new fibre cable to existing BT Chambers. Alternative route via Newtown (unaffected length) – A363
Masons Lane – B3108 Winsley Road – C391 Winsley Road/Bradford Road – C230 Turleigh Hill/Turleigh – C230 Belcombe Road
and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one
night between the hours of 21.00 and 06.00. For further information please contact A-Plant Lux (on behalf of BT Openreach) on
03700500792. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Westwells
(Part), Corsham; from its junction with Westwells Road/Moor Green for a distance of approximately 220m in an easterly
direction to enable BT Openreach to undertake work to install poly duct track in the carriageway. Alternative route via Moor
Green – Greenhill – Westwells (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018 and
it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 4 April 2018. For further information please contact Annam Groundworks
(on behalf of BT Openreach) on 07771645511; (d) C166 Scotland Hill (Part), Stanton St. Quintin and Seagry; from its
junction with C166 Clanville for a distance of approximately 720m in an easterly direction; (e) C166 Seagry Road/Lower
Stanton St. Quintin, Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with A429 to its junction with Scotland Hill to enable GTC
(PowerOn Connections) to install cables for the new Dyson facility. Alternative routes: (d) via Scotland Hill (unaffected length)/
Henn Lane – C82 Upper Seagry – C66 Seagry Road – B4069 High Street (Sutton Benger) – B4122 – A429 and vice versa; (e) via
A429 – C166 Clanville and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2018. The work will be undertaken in two
phases; closures (d) and (e) will not be in operation concurrently. It is anticipated that work will be completed by 16 April 2018.

Kington Langley; from its junction with Plough Lane for its entire length to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent
reinstatement works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 29 March 2018. For further information please contact Tom Wysocki (Wessex Water) on
03456004600; (g) Low Road (Part), Little Cheverell, Cheverell Parva; from a point approximately 260m north of its
junction with B3098 Westbury Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water
to undertake sewer manhole sealing work. Alternative route via Low Road (unaffected length) – B3098 Westbury Road – C40
Cheverell Road/High Street – Low Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018
and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 29 March 2018. For further information please contact Dominic Gorton
(Wessex Water) on 01225 524021. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire
Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (h) A366 (Part), Wingfield and Trowbridge; from its junction
with B3109 Frome Road to its junction with Brook Road to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing,
surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via A366 (unaffected length) – A363 Stallard Street/Bythesea Road – A361
County Way – A361 Bradley Road/Frome Road – B3109 Rode/Frome Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order, which
previously came into operation on 20 March 2018, will now recommence on 29 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure
will be required for one day. For further information please contact Steve Hawkins (Eurovia) on 07834503477; (i) Tyning Road
(Part), Winsley; from its junction with The Mead to a point approximately 30m north of its junction with White Horse Road
to enable Ringway to undertake footway reconstruction works. Alternative route via Tyning Road (unaffected length) – B3108
Winsley Bypass – Dane Rise – Bradford Road – Tyning Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order, which previously
came into operation on 10 January 2018, will now recommence on 26 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be
required daily between the hours of 7.30 and 17.30 until 6 April 2018. For further information please contact Ryan Beale (Atkins)
on 01225730360. Orders (h) and (i) have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be
clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon
weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to
the nature of some of the works.
