Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2010
The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building,
a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to
view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be
made by 30/03/2018 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a
planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Cycle Tracks Act 1984
The County of Wiltshire (Footpath 8, Melksham) (Cycle Tracks) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that on 27 February 2018 Wiltshire Council confirmed the above
mentioned Order, without modification, under section 3(3)(b) of the Cycle Tracks Act
1984 the effect of which will be the following length of footpath has been designated
as a cycle track: Footpath 8 – from its junction with Dorset Crescent for a distance of
30 metres in an easterly direction. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the
offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours and at
Melksham Library, Lowbourne, Melksham between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday,
9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm
Saturday. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the
Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the
powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement
of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the
said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks
of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High
Court. The Order will come into operation 28 days after the date of this Notice.

The County of Wiltshire (Bradford on Avon) (Prohibition and Restriction
of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking)
Consolidation Order 2017 (Amendment No.2) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend
the following restrictions in the Bradford on Avon Consolidation Order 2017 by revoking
Map Schedule No EJ21 dated 27 December 2017 and replacing it by the insertion of
revised Map Schedule No EJ21 the effect of which will be to remove Parking Monday to
Saturday 8am-7pm 2 hours No return within 2 hours and replace with No Waiting at
any time on Kingston Road – west side – from a point adjacent the northern boundary
of property Nos. 25-30 Kingston Road for a distance of 16 metres in a southerly direction.
Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing
to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall,
Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme
may be seen at Bradford on Avon Library, Bridge Street, Bradford on Avon during the
hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to
7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 2 April 2018. Documents can also be
viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal
together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing or via the

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
1. The County of Wiltshire (A4 Bath Road and B3109 Bradford Road,
Corsham) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2018
2. The County of Wiltshire (A4 and Beech Road, Box and Corsham)
(50mph Speed Limit) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County
of Wiltshire (A4, Bath Road and B3109 Bradford Road, Corsham) (40mph Speed Limit)
Order 1996 and re-enact it in the above Order 1, to revoke The County of Wiltshire (A4
and Beech Road, Box and Corsham) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2005 and re-enact it,
in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on A4 Bath Road -
from a point 107 metres west of its junction with Park Lane for a distance of 512 metres
in a westerly direction. Copies of the draft Orders, plan and Statement of the Council’s
Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire
Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of
the proposed scheme may be seen at Corsham Library, Springfield Community Campus,
Beechfield Road, Corsham during the hours of 9am to 7pm Monday and Friday and 9am
to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday until 2 April 2018. Documents can
also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the
proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing
or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 2 April 2018 quoting

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all
traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction and associated
works: (a) A363 (Part) St. Margaret’s Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction
with Station Approach to its junction with Silver Street; (b) B3107 (Part) Silver Street,
Bradford on Avon; from its junction with St. Margaret’s Street to its junction with Woolley
Street; (c) B3107 (Part) Woolley Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with
Silver Street to its junction with Holt Road; (d) B3107 (Part) Holt Road, Bradford on
Avon; from its junction with Woolley Street to its junction with Benjamin Street/Springfield
Roundabout. Alternative route via B3107 – B3105 – B3106 – A363 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 11 March 2018. It is anticipated that the closures
will be required for one day between the hours of 19.00 and midnight on 11 March 2018,
and again for one day on 18 March 2018 (24 hours). It is anticipated that the works
will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access
will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible although delays are likely
due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

temporarily to all traffic: (a) A3098 (Part) Penknapp Road/Tower Hill, Dilton
Marsh; from its junction with B3099 Tanyard Way to its junction with C235 The Hollow to
enable Ringway to undertake works to amend traffic calming measures. Alternative route
via A3098 (unaffected length) – B3099 – A36 – Thoulstone - A3098 (unaffected length)
and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 4 April 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required until 21 April 2018. For further information please

(Part), Limpley Stoke; for a distance of approximately 25m either side of the railway
bridge to enable Centurion Site Services to undertake safety and structural examination
of railway bridge. Alternative route via B3108 Lower Stoke/Winsley Hill/Winsley Bypass/
Winsley Road – A363 – London Road – High Street – Bathwick Street – Beckford Road –
A36 – B3108 Lower Stoke (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into
operation on 3 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day
between the hours of 09.00 and 16.00. For further information please contact Abbie Horton

has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Newleaze (Part), Hilperton; from
its junction with B3105 for a distance of approximately 500m in a south-easterly direction
to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway resurfacing, surface dressing and
road markings. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on
14 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 16 March 2018.

(d) New Road, Melksham Without; from its junction with Woodrow Road to
its junction with the A3102 to enable Eurovia to undertake works for carriageway
reconstruction, surface dressing and associated works including road markings. Alternative
route via Woodrow Road – Church Lane – A3102 and vice versa. This Order will come
into operation on 12 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for

(e) C228 Coulston (Part), Coulston; from its junction with B3098 Westbury Road for
a distance of approximately of 800m in a north-easterly direction to enable BT Openreach
to undertake rolling programme of overhead cable works. Alternative route via Coulston
(unaffected length) – Coulston Road – B3098 Westbury Road and vice versa. This Order
will come into operation on 12 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be

Corsham; from its junction with Burrowes Close for a distance of approximately 70m in
a westerly direction to enable WHP Telecoms to erect a new pole. No alternative route
is available. This Order will come into operation on 12 March 2018 and it is anticipated
that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. For

The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the
Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (g) The Midlands
(Part), Holt; from its junction with Brook Lane in a south-easterly direction for a distance
of approximately 33m towards B3107 The Street to enable Atkins to undertake footway
reconstruction works. Alternative route via The Midlands (unaffected length) – B3107
The Street and vice versa. This Order, which previously into operation on 5 January 2018,
will now recommence on 16 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will
be required until 29 March 2018. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.

junction with A4 Pickwick to enable Redrow Homes to undertake housing development
construction works. Alternative route via Footpath 74, Corsham – Guyers Lane – A4
and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order
will come into operation on 12 March 2018 and is anticipated that the closure will be
required for up to six months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months.
