Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004

2. The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of East Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No.3) Order 2017



Notice is hereby given that on 3 October 2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Wilcot Road, Pewsey) (One Way Traffic) Order 2008 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 1 and to remove One Way Traffic on Wilcot Road - from a point 92 metres south west of its junction with Rawlings Road for a distance of 38 metres. Order 2 - To amend the following restrictions in Pewsey in the Parishes of East Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule No EL86 dated 26th September 2016 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No EL86 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To remove Parking Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours and replace with No Waiting at any time on Wilcot Road - north side - from a point 5 metres west of the western corner of The Crown (property No.60 Wilcot Road) for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction; b) To introduce No Waiting at anytime on Crown Close - both sides - from its junction with Wilcot Road for a distance of 7 metres in a northerly direction; c) To introduce Parking Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours on Crown Close - west side - from a point 12 metres north of its junction with Wilcot Road in a northerly direction for 15 metres; d) To introduce Disabled Badge Holders only on Crown Close - west side - from a point 8 metres north of its junction with Wilcot Road for a distance of 4 metres in a northerly direction. A copy of the Orders and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation

on 16 October 2017.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: C113 Maud Heath's Causeway (Part), Kellaways, Langley Burrell;

from a point level with St. Giles's Church in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 320m to enable CDL Stone Ltd to undertake repair work to the Causeway arches and flood gates. The restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 30 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the restriction will remain in force for 12 weeks. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 7.5T Weight Restriction with an exemption for agricultural vehicles and those accessing businesses and premises on the following lengths of road: (a) C76 (Part) The Common, Minety and Purton; from its junction with B4040 MalmesburyRoad to its junction with C91 Mile Straight; (b) C91 Mile Straight, Minety, Purton and Braydon; from its junction with The Common to its junction with C67 Eighty Acres; (c) C67 Eighty Acres (Part), Purton; from its junction with Mile Straight to its junction with B4696 Lydiard Plain; (d) B4696 (Part) Lydiard Plain, Purton, Lydiard Millicent and Lydiard Tregoze; from its junction with Eighty Acres to its junction with B4042 Brinkworth Road. The restriction is implemented to prevent inappropriate use of road lengths (a) - (d) whilst bridge replacement work is undertaken at B4696 (Part), Purton and Braydon and will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The restriction, which follows an emergency notice, will come into effect on 19 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the restriction will remain in place until 8 January 2018, or when it is considered safe for ordinary traffic to resume. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) C226 (Part) Seend Cleeve, Seend; from its junction with Perrys Lane for a distance of 123m in a northerly direction; (b) C226 (Part) Seend Cleeve, Seend; from its junction with Perrys Lane to its junction with Pelch Lane; (c) C226 (Part) Seend Cleeve, Seend; from its junction with Pelch Lane to its junction with Park Lane; (d) C226 (Part) Seend Cleeve, Seend; from its junction with Park Lane to its junction with Row Lane. To enable: Wessex Water to carry out water main replacement and water network improvement works. Alternative route via Bollands Hill - A361 Trowbridge Road - C226 Seend Cleeve (unaffected length) and vice versa. Closures (a) to (d) will be implemented in consecutive phases. This Order will come into operation on 6 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 1 April 2018. This Order will come into operation on 6 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 22 December 2017. Alternative route via A350 northbound - A350 southbound and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 6 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 9 November 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (g) Spout Lane (Part), Seend; from its junction with the entrance to Devizes Camping and Caravanning Club Site for a distance of approximately 150m to Sells Green canal bridge to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewage rising main replacement works. Alternative route via C242 Spout Lane (unaffected length) - A365 Sells Green - A361 Seend Hill - C242 Spout Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 3 November 2017. For further information please contactLeanne Ford (Wessex Water) on 01225 524015. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
