Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Dianmer Close, Lydiard Tregoze; from its junction with C414, Hook for its entire length to enable Thames Water to carry out directional drilling (980m water mains). No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 25 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 29 September 2017. Alternative route via C30 (unaffected length) - A4 - C201 Manor Park/Brewhouse Hill/School Lane North - School Lane - C30 High Street (Little Bedwyn)/Forebridge/Oak Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 28 July 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Borough Fields, Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with A3102 High Street to Borough Fields Car Park to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, drainage, iron works, road markings and associated works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 12 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required weeknights only between the hours of 20.00 and 01.00 until 18 July 2017. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 July 2017. For further information please contact Simon Phillips (Wessex Water) on 0345 6004600; (e) Manor Farm Lane (Part), Patney; from its junction with C51 Woodland Road for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out stop tap category trial hole. Alternative route via Manor Farm Lane (unaffected length) - C240 - C51 Woodland Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 14 July 2017. Alternative route via A3102 - A342 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 18 August 2017. Alternative route via Market Hill - A4 - Cox's Hill - Castle Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 July 2017. For further information please contact Matthew Coles (Wessex Water) on 0345 6004600; (h) C179 Germains Lane (Part), Biddestone and Yatton Keynell; from its junction with C164 Giddeahall to its junction with Slaughterford Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out works to replace a culvert under the road. Alternative route via C164 Giddeahall - Slaughterford Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 21 July 2017. For further information please contact Jack Francis (Wiltshire Council) on 01225 712816. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works
will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the
Wiltshire Council
works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
