NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 119 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE
ACT 1981 - SECTION 53
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL SHERSTON 17 (PART) DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2017
On 20 June 2017, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119
of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from OSGR ST 8575-8384 and then leading in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 540m to OSGR ST 8628-8395, to a new route at OSGR ST 8572-8394, in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 560m to OSGR ST 8628-8395, having a width of 2m, and thereupon the Malmesbury District Council area definitive map dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Rights of Way and Countryside Section, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £5.
The order comes into force on 20 June 2017, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from Thursday 29 June 2017 make an application to the High Court.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (B4069, Various Parishes) (Weight Restriction) Order 2017 (previously advertised as 2016)
Notice is herebygiven that on 20 June 2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce an 18 tonnes weight restriction for heavy commercial goods vehicles (except for access) on the B4069 - from its junction with B4122 at Draycot Cerne, Sutton Bengerfor a distance of approximately 6.5 miles (10.5km) to its junction with A3102, Lyneham. A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 82, Cricklade; from its junction with White Horse Road for a distance of approximately 55m to its junction with Footpath 40, Cricklade to enable construction of a new footpath. Alternative route via Footpath 40 - Footpath 81, Cricklade and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 5 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 16 July 2017. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) C87 The Street (Part), Luckington; for a distance of approximately 30m outside property 'Green Cottage' to enable Bristol Water to carry out lead replacement. Alternative route via The Street (unaffected length) - Sopworth Lane -School Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 26 July 2017. This Order will come into operation on 3 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one night between the hours of 20.00 and 04.00. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (f) Back Street, Ashton Keynes; from its junction with High Road to its junction with Kent End; (g) Kent End, Ashton Keynes; from its junction with Back Street to its junction with Rixon Gate to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, drainage, ironwork adjustments and road markings. Alternative route via C69 Rixon Gate - C70 Happy Land - C2 High Road and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 October 2016 will now recommence on 4 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 7 July 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of some of the works.
