Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is herebygiven that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A429 (Part), Malmesbury Without;
from its roundabout with B4042 to its junction with C1 Kingway Bridge Road, Hullavington to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road markings, ironwork adjustment and associated works. Alternative route via A429 (unaffected length) - A433 - A46 - A420 -A350 - A429 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 weekdays only until 23 June 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Savernake; from its junction with A345 for approximately 400m in a southerly direction to enable BT Openreach to lay BT ducts. Alternative
route via C265 (unaffected length) - C199 - Milkhouse Water - C269 -
A345 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly
indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 June 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 12 June 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 Localism Act 2011 Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 Adoption Statement May 2017 Notice of adoption of the Chippenham Site Allocations Plan (Development Plan Document) Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulations 26 and 35 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, that the Chippenham Site Allocations Plan ('the Plan') was formally adopted by Wiltshire Council on 16 May 2017.
The Plan allocates two sites for mixed use development and provides a positive planning policy framework for Chippenham for the period up to 2026. Now adopted, the Plan forms part of the Development Plan for Wiltshire.
The Plan was the subject of an independent examination conducted by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. The Inspector's Report was published in February 2017 and the recommended main modifications have been included in the adopted plan. Availability of Documents

Copies of any of the documents listed above and this Adoption Statement may be obtained on request and upon payment of a reasonable charge for such copies.
Any person aggrieved by the Plan may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on the grounds that the document is not within the appropriate powers or that a procedural requirement has not been complied with. Any application must be made no later than six weeks after the date of adoption, 16 May 2017. (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that on 16 May 2017 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a 40mph speed limit on C195, Marten, Grafton - from a point 163 metres south east of its junction with A338 to a point in line with the boundary of property known as No. 4 Armines. Order 2 - To introduce a 50mph speed limit on C195, Marten, Grafton - from its junction with A338 for a distance of 163 metres in a south easterly direction. A copy of the Orders and plan may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
