Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - B3106 The Down, Trowbridge

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of a Zebra Crossing in B3106 The Down at a point 46 metres south west of its junction with Canal Road. A copy of the plan showing the location of the crossing may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Trowbridge Library, Ground Floor, County Hall, Trowbridge between the hours of 8.30am to 7pm Monday, 8.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 8.30am to 7pm Thursday and Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday until 30 May 2017. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made, should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 30 May 2017 quoting reference LJB/TRO/TROW/HY296.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 22 (Part), Langley Burrell; from its junction with Parsonage Way to its junction with Footpath 5, Langley Burrell to enable construction work to be undertaken for a car park and stockyard. Alternative route via Parsonage Way-B4069 Chippenham Road -Footpath 5, LangleyBurrell and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is herebygiven thatthe Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A361 (Part) Paxcroft/Devizes Road, Hilperton and Semington;

from Paxcroftroundabout to Semington roundabout to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via A361 (unaffected length) - A363 - A350 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 6 May 2017. It is anticipated that the road will be closed on the following dates:

Saturday 6 May 2017 and Sunday 7 May 2017 between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00.

Sunday 14 May 2017 between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) B3108 Lower Stoke (Part), Limpley Stoke; for a distance of approximately 25m either side of the rail bridge to enable AMEY to carry out an essential bridge inspection. Alternative route via B3108 (unaffected length) - A36 -Bathwick Street - A4 - A363 - B3108 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. For further information

Bradford on Avon; for a distance of approximately 30m outside properties no. 27 and 28 to enable Wessex Water to change a fire hydrant. Alternative route via Ashley Road (unaffected length) - Ashley Green - A363 - Ashley Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 11 May 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works: (c) Dodford Lane, Christian Malford; from its junction with B4069 Main Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order which previously came into operation on 24 March 2017 will now recommence on 9 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 12 May 2017;

(d) Lye Common, Christian Malford; from its junction with C118 Station Road to its junction with C132 Thornend. Alternative route via C118 Station Road/Foxham Road -C111 West End - C132 Thornend and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 21 April 2017 will now recommence on 10 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00;



(e) Avonweir Lane, Christian Malford; from its junction with B4069 Main Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order which previously came into operation on 21 April 2017 will now recommence on 11 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00. For further information regarding closures (c), (d) and (e) please contactSteve Hawkins (Eurovia) on 07834503477. Orders (c), (d) and (e) have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions.
