SECTION 70 LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE AND OPERATOR FEES
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in accordance with the provisions of Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences. They will be applicable within the Wiltshire Council area as detailed belowwith effect from 1st May 2017 (or on a date, being not later than two months from the first date, if objection is made).

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) C136 (Part), Hazeland, Bremhill; for a distance of approximately 150m covering Hazeland Weir Bridge to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out bridge investigation and maintenance works. Alternative route via C136 Hazeland
(unaffected length) - C113 Dumb Post Hill/Ratford Hill - A4 Chilvester Hill/Black Dog
Hill - Norley Lane - C136 Hazeland (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 15 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. For further information please contact Emma Biggs (Wiltshire Council) on 0300 4560105; (b) Brook Drive (Part), Corsham; from a point adjacent to property no. 43 in an easterly direction to end to enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement work. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 15 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.30 and 15.00. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Barton Orchard (Part), Bradford on Avon; for a distance of approximately 70m between properties no. 7 and 14 to enable Wessex Water to carry out fire hydrant and valve replacement. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 25 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 27 April 2017. Alternative route via A3102 (unaffected length) -C502 Eastern Way -C502 Melksham Relief Road -C502 SnowberryLane - C382 Spa Road - A365 - A350 - A3102 (unaffected length) and
vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 until 26 April 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (e) Quartermaster Road (Part), Heywood; from its junction with Moat Road for a distance of approximately 100m towards Storridge Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing work, ironwork adjustment and road markings. Alternative route via Quartermaster Road (unaffected length) - Link Road - B3097 Hawkeridge Road - B3097 The Ham - Storridge Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two nights between the hours of 19.00 and 07.00 (weeknights only to 2 May 2017). Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works: (f) Vaggs Hill, Southwick; from its junction with B3109 Frome Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 27 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 3 May 2017; (g) Lamberts Marsh (Part), Southwick; from its junction with A361 Frome Road in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 700m to 'Mutton Marsh Farm'. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 27 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 4 May 2017; (h) Hoggington Lane, Southwick; from its junction with A361 Frome Road for its entire length. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 27 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 4 May 2017. For further information regarding closures (f) to (h) please contact Steve Hawkins (Eurovia) on 07834503477. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of
