SECTION 70 LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE AND OPERATOR FEES
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in accordance with the provisions of Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences. They will be applicable within the Wiltshire Council area as detailed below with effect from 1st May 2017 (or on a date, being not later than two months from the first date, if objection is made).

1. The County of Wiltshire (Wilcot Road, Pewsey) (One Way Traffic) Order 2017

2. The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of East Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2016 (Amendment No.3) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 2 under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To revoke The County of Wiltshire (Wilcot Road, Pewsey) (One Way Traffic) Order 2008 and re-enactit, in part, in the above Order 1 and to remove One Way Traffic on Wilcot Road - from a point 92 metres south west of its junction with Rawlings Road for a distance of 38 metres. Order 2 To amend the following restrictions in Pewsey in the Parishes of East Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking Map Schedule No EL86 dated 26 September 2016 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No EL86 the effect of which will be a) to remove Parking Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours and replace with No Waiting at anytime on Wilcot Road -north side - from a point 5 metres west of the western corner of The Crown (property No. 60 Wilcot Road) for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction; b) to introduce No Waiting at any time on Crown Close - both sides - from its junction with Wilcot Road for a distance of 7 metres in a northerly direction; c) to introduce Parking Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours on Crown Close - west side - from a point 12 metres north of its junction with Wilcot Road in a northerly direction for 15 metres; d) to introduce Disabled Badge Holders only on Crown Close - west side - from a point 8 metres north of its junction with Wilcot Road for a distance of 4 metres in a northerly direction. Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal
office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Pewsey Library during the hours of 2pm to 5pm Monday and Friday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm Tuesday, 10am to 1pm Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 5pm Thursday until 8 May 2017. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Church Road, Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with C72 Bouverie Park East to its junction with A429 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works. Alternative route C72 Bouverie Park East - A429 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekdays only between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 16 May 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (b) C89 Park Lane/Brokenborough Road, Brokenborough; from its junction with B4014 to its junction with B4040 Sherston Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via B4040 Sherston Road/Bristol Street - C68 Gloucester Road/Tetbury Hill - B4014 Tetbury Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 24 April 2017. Alternative route via C52 Wilcot Road (unaffected length) - C8 Wilcot Road - A345 (Pewsey) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 20 April 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works: (g) C120 (Part) Tockenham Road/Greenway (Part), Tockenham; from a point approximately 60m northwest of its junction with C130 Tockenham to a point approximately 160m southeast of its junction with Orchard Lane. Alternative route via C120 Tockenham Road (unaffected length) - A3102 C131 Preston Lane - C120 Greenway (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 February 2017 will now recommence on 20 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the
hours of 07.00 and 18.00 for two days; (h) C120 (Part) Bushton, Clyffe Pypard;
from a point approximately 75m south-east of its junction with C123 Breach Lane in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 1.2km to a point adjacent to property 'Merrythatch'; (i) C15 Withy Bed (Part), Clyffe Pypard; from a point approximately 80m south-west of its junction with C120 Bushton to its junction with Wood Street. Alternative routes: (h) via C120 (unaffected length) - C131 Lyneham -A3102 Hilmarton - C15 Compton Bassett - A4 Cherhill/Avebury - A4361 Avebury/ Winterbourne Monkton - C415 Broad Hinton - C121 Highden Lane - C120 (unaffected length) Clyffe Pypard and vice versa; (i) via C15 (unaffected length) Bushton/Hilmarton/ Compton Bassett - A4 Cherhill/Avebury - A4361 Winterbourne Monkton - C415 Broad Hinton/Broad Town - C15 Bushton (unaffected length) and vice versa. Closures (h) and (i) will be implemented in consecutive phases. This Order which previously came into operation on 16 February 2017 will now recommence on 20 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00; (j) Hallsfield, Cricklade; from its junction with West Mill Lane for its entire length. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order which previously came into operation on 22 February 2017 will now recommence on 20 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required
until 21 April 2017; (k) C20 (Part) Broadway/Ledge Hill/Spin Hill/Parsonage
Lane/Grove Road, Market Lavington; from its junction with A360 in a south-easterly direction to its junction with B3098 The Spring. Alternative route via A360 - B3098 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 23 February 2017 will now recommence on 21 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 25 April 2017. For further information regarding closures (g) to (k) please contact Steve Hawkins (Eurovia) on 07834 503477. Orders (g) to (k) have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents
and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature of
some of the works.
