Local Government Finance Act 1988 The Non-Domestic Ratepayers (Consultation) Regulations 1989

Wiltshire Council has a duty to consult people who are subject to non-domestic rates on property in the county (or bodies representing those people) for the period beginning 1st April 2017.

A meeting to discuss these proposals will be held in the Salisbury Room, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN on 3 February 2017 at 10.30am. Non-domestic ratepayers or their representatives are invited to attend but are requested, if possible, to give notice of their intention to do so to Democratic Services at the address below. Such papers and information, as are required by the above Regulations to be supplied, are available on request from 26 January 2017.

Wiltshire Council Statutory Notice for a proposed enlargement to the Stonehenge School, Amesbury, Wiltshire.

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Wiltshire Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to The Stonehenge School, Antrobus Road, Amesbury, Wiltshire, SP4 7ND from 1st September 2018.

Wiltshire Council proposes to enlarge the premises of The Stonehenge School by incrementally admitting an additional 60 pupils into Year 7 from September 2018. This will be accommodated through building works to provide purpose built new accommodation (subject to the receipt of planning permission).

The current capacity of the school is 820 and the proposed capacity will be 1120, an increase of 300 places. The October 2016 School Census gave the number of pupils aged 11 to 16 registered at the school as 630. The current admission numberfor the school is 164 and the proposed admission number will be 224.

It is proposed to permanently increase the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 1st September 2018, when an increase of 60 additional pupils will be admitted into Year 7. Up to 224 Year 7 pupils will be admitted in each subsequent year. Building work will be undertaken (subject to the receipt of planning permission) and the new facilities implemented by Wiltshire Council as part of the Capital Programme. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing, road markings and associated works:

(a) C305 (Part) New Road, East Knoyle; from its junction with C306 Wise Lane to its junction with A350;



(b) Milton Lane, East Knoyle; from its junction with C305 New Road to its junction with A350. Alternative routes: (a) via C306 Wise Lane - C307 Hindon Road - A350 and vice versa; (b) via C305 New Road - A350 and vice versa. Closures (a) and (b) will be implemented in consecutive phases. This Order will come into operation on 24 February 2017 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 27 February 2017; (c) C12 (Part), Fifield Road/High Lane/High Road/Broadchalke Road/ Stratford Tony Road, Ebbesbourne Wake, Broadchalke, Bishopstone, Stratford Tony and Coombe Bissett; from its junction with C64 Fovant Road to its junction with A354 Salisbury Road.
