Temporary Suspension of No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading and Introduction of Temporary No Waiting at Any Time Except

Taxis: C381 High Street (Part), Melksham Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the No Waiting at Any Time and No Loading restriction on High Street (Part), Melksham; on the eastern side of the highway (adjacent to Lloyds Bank), from its junction with Place Road in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 30m, and to temporarily introduce a No Waiting at Any Time (except taxis) restriction in its place. To enable: a temporary taxi rank to be operated whilst phased construction work is undertaken at Market Place, Melksham. The restriction and temporary taxi rank will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 30 January 2017 and is anticipated to be required until 2 June 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 68 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Tower Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction to enable work to be undertaken to convert part of the existing footpath into a shared use path. Alternative route via Footpath 68 (unaffected length) - Footpath 71 - Tower Road and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 10 days. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) UC Winsley, Winsley; from its junction with C391 Bradford Road to its junction with C391 Bradford Road/Limpley Stoke Road to enable Wessex Water to replace communication pipe relay. Alternative route via C391 Bradford Road. This Order will come into operation on 1 February 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily for three days. This Order will come into operation on 31 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required 24 hours daily until 2 February 2017. given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (d) UC Market Place, Melksham; from its junctions with C381 King Street and C381 High Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out phased construction works including surfacing, drainage, electrical, kerbing works and street furniture installation. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 30 June 2017. and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightlybetween the hours of22.00 and 06.00 until 13 January 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delaysare possible due to the nature of some ofthe works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
