Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 3, Heywood; from its junction with Footpath 29, Heywood to its junction with Church Road to enable Network Rail to undertake track renewal work. Alternative route via Church Street/Dursley Road - Norleaze -Footpath 29 and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation nightly between the hours of 21.30 and 06.30 on the following dates: 14-16 January 2017, 21 - 23 January 2017 and 28 - 30 January 2017. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 68 (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Tower Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction to enable work to be undertaken to convert part of the existing footpath into a shared use path. Alternative route via Footpath 68 (unaffected length) - Footpath 71 - Tower Road and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 10 days. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months.
