The above named Order, made on 12 December 2015 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert part of footpath Salisburyno. 6 atStratford sub Castle from itsexisting line to the rearofresidential properties (width 2 metres to 2.14 metres approx length 321 metres) to a path to the north east leading from OS Grid ref SU 1339 3223 to OS Grid ref SU 1320 3248 (width 3 metres approx length 326 metres) and to alter the City of Salisbury Area definitive map and statement dated 1953 accordingly. Width 2 metres. Approx. length 323 metres. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 WILTSHIRE COUNCIL THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE AMESBURY RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA DATED 1952 AS MODIFIED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL DURNFORD 4 (WOODROW) RIGHTS OF WAY MODIFICATION ORDER
On the 5th December 2016 an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order made under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The above Order, made on the 15th day of March 2016 will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by upgrading to a restricted byway the right of way (Dinton 4 - Woodrow) from Great Durnford opposite the church to the A.345. Width 6.10 metres with a pinch point of 5.5 metres from Great Durnford to OS Grid
ref SU 1375 3829 then 9.14 metres to the A.345. Approx. length 2.158 kms. A copy of the
Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Rights of Way Section, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, BA14 0XA during normal office hours. The Order becomes operative as from the 5th December 2016 but if any person is aggrieved by the Order and desires to question the validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the 22nd December 2016 make an application under paragraph 12
(1) of Schedule 15 to the 1981 Act, to the High Court.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C61 New Road (Part), Donhead St. Andrew/Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with C300 Semley Common to its junction with C313 Pigtrough Lane to enable BT Openreach to restore customer service. Alternative route via C300 C299 - C62 (Semley Common) - Gulch Common/Britmore Lane - C299 Barkers Hill C313 Pigtrough Lane and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 15 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day only between the hours of 08.00 and 16.30. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Accesswill be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
