Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) UC Market Place, Melksham; from its junctions with C381 King Street and C381 High Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out phased construction works including surfacing, drainage, electrical, kerbing works and street furniture installation. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 30 June 2017. and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of22.00 and 06.00 until 13 January 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Oak Lane (Part), Easterton; from its junction with Haywards Place for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out chamber replacement. Alternative route via Oak Lane (unaffected length) - Kings Road - B3098 High Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 December 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Trowbridge) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Almond Grove, Beech Grove, Cavell Court, Cedar Grove, Chestnut Grove, College Road, Hawthorn Grove, Hazel Grove, Laburnum Grove, Larch Grove, Laurel Grove, Lilac Grove, Maple Grove, Sycamore Grove, Walnut Grove and Willow Grove - the complete lengths. Copies of the draft Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours.
