Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Devizes) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Avon Terrace, Colston Road, Rotherstone and Sheppard Close - the
complete lengths; Couch Lane - from a point 55 metres north east of its junction with Commercial Road to its junction with Rotherstone. Copies of the draft Order, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Devizes Library, Sheep Street, Devizes between the hours of 10am to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm Wednesday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm Saturday until 19 December 2016. Documents can also be viewed online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/troconsultations.htm. Comments on the proposal together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent in writing or via the website to reach the Sustainable Transport Group by 19 December 2016 quoting reference LJB/TRO/DEVI20.
Section 14(1)of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 9 (Part), Lydiard Tregoze; from its junction with A3102 Swindon Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 400m to enable construction of a solar park. Alternative route via Footpath 8, Lydiard Tregoze and along the southern boundary of the site (and vice versa). The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 19 December 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for six months or upon completion of the work, whichever is earlier. Section 14 (1) and 14 (7) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to: (a) temporarily suspend the existing One-Way traffic restriction on Wilcot Road (Part), Pewsey; from a point approximately 92m west of its junction with Rawlins Road in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 38m; and (b) to temporarily introduce a No Waiting at Any Time restriction on Wilcot Road (Part), Pewsey; on the northern side of the highway (Crown Inn side) from a point approximately 92m west of its junction with Rawlins Road in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 30m. To enable: West build Homes to undertake development work. These temporary traffic measures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The Order will come into operation on 19 December 2016 and it is anticipated that the temporary traffic measures will remain in operation 24 hours per day, seven days a week for duration of 18months. Section 14(1)oftheRoad TrafficRegulation Act1984
Notice is hereby given that theWiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Back Lane (Part), Marlborough; for a distance of approximately 160m between properties 'Killycoonagh' and 'Chaveley' to enable Wales and West Utilities to install gas service to a new property. Alternative route via Cross Lane - Cardigan Road -Hyde Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 November 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00 until 2 December 2016. This Order will come into operation on 1 December 2016 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 15.00. For further information please contact Centurion Site Services on 01132 775360. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by trafficsigns.It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
