ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, EDINGTON) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2022 2. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (CHURCH ROAD AND STATION ROAD, EDINGTON) (RESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wilts (Restricted Roads) (No.1) Order 1969 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Baynton Way, Berry Road, Charlton Hill, Downsview, Greater Lane, Greatwoods, Inmead, Little Court Lane, Longlands Close, The City and The Weir - the complete lengths; Court Lane - from its junction with Baynton Way to a point approximately 32 metres north of its junction with Little Court Lane; Long Hollow - from its junction with Salisbury Hollow for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a southerly direction; Lower Road - from its junction with Monastery Road to a point approximately 122 metres west of its junction with Greater Lane; Monastery Road - from its junction with B3098 to a point approximately 72 metres north of its junction with The Weir; Salisbury Hollow - from its junction with Long Hollow for a distance of approximately 152 metres in an easterly direction; Tinhead Road - from its junction with B3098 to a point approximately 82 metres south of its junction with Cowleaze Lane. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION
ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C228 (Part), Coulston; from its junction with Stokes Marsh Lane to its junction with Back Lane to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to deveg structure, carry out brick repairs and associated works. Alternative route via C228 (unaffected length) - C245 -B3098 -C228 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 until 17 March 2022. B) C163 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Lacock Road (Eastern Spur) for approximately 80m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out installation of PRV, meter, bypass valves and washouts onto water main. Alternative route via C150 - C157 - C163 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and the closure will be required until 27 March 2022. C) Orchard Close (Part), Westwood; from its junction with Lower Westwood Road for approximately 25m in a northerly direction to enable Wales and West Utilities Ltd to carry out mains replacement and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. D) Woodrow Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Littlejohn Avenue to its junction with Woodcombe to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer construction and associated works. Alternative route via Woodrow Road (unaffected length) - Forest Road - A3102 -New Road - Woodrow Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 00:00 until 15 June 2022. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Durlett and Durlett Road, Bromham and Rowde; from its junction with New Road to its junction with The Common to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cables. Alternative route via Hawkstreet, A342, Cock Road, The Common and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 10 March 2022. F) Leslie Rise, Westwood, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Bobbin Lane for its entire length.

G) Tynings Way, Westwood, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Leslie Rise to its junction with Boswell Road.

H) Boswell Road, Westwood, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Lower Westwood Road for its entire length.

I) Hebden Road, Westwood, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Boswell Road for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, patching works, road marking and adjustment of ironworks. No alternative route is available. This Order which previously came into operation on 06 April 2021 will now recommence on 21 February 2022 and the closure will be required consecutively between 09:00 and 16:00 until 01 March 2022. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council on 01225 730438. Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Orders F) to I) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
