ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACT 2004 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (PARISHES OF EAST WILTSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2016 (AMENDMENT N0.7) ORDER 2022 Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in Fyfield and West Overton in the Parishes of East Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2016 by introducing new Map Schedule Nos. DI84 and DL80 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on A4 Bath Road, Fyfield - north side - from a point 12 metres east of access to property known as South View to a point 20 metres west of its junction with Mearls Way; A4 Bath Road, Fyfield - south side - from a point 47 metres east of the access to property known as South View to a point 12 metres west of the access to property known as Fyfield House; Bell Lane, West Overton - both sides - from its {unction with C202 for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction; C202, West Overton - west and north side - from a point 22 metres south west of its junction with Bell Lane to a point 16 metres east of that junction; C202, West Overton -east and south sides - from a point 22 metres south west of its junction with Bell Lane to a point 10 metres east of that junction. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A4361 (Part), Winterbourne Bassett and Broad Hinton; from its junction with High Street, Winterbourne Bassett to its junction with Summers Lane, Broad Hinton to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and replacement of road markings. Alternative route via A4361 (unaffected length), Swindon Road, Pipers Way, Marlborough Road,A346,A4,A436l (unaffected length) and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Sandpits Lane (Part), Sherston; from its junction with B4040 to its junction with Green Lane to enable Wessex Water to carry out repairs to sewer, manhole cover and associated works. Alternative route via B4040, Court Street, Green Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 5 days. Alternative route via C67 (unaffected length) - C81 - B4040 - C103 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required for 3 days. G) A342 (Part), Upavon and Rushall; from its junction with Church Lane in a southerly direction to its junction with A345 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway repairs and replacement of road markings and associated works. Alternative route via A345 (unaffected length) -The Packway- B3086 - A360 - A342 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 for 5 days. H) Kings Wall (Part), Malmesbury; from outside its property known as 50 Kings Wall in a northerly direction to the end of its carriageway to enable Wessex Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 10 February 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 2 days. J) A429 (Part), Hullavington and Malmesbury St Paul Without; from its junction with Whychurch Roundabout to its junction with Priory Roundabout to enable Network Rail to carry out repairs to bridge structure and associated works. Alternative route 1) No alternative route is available. Alternative route 2) for Non HGVs - via A429 (unaffected length), A350, A420, A46, A4135, A433 and vice versa. Alternative route 2) for HGVs - via A429 (unaffected length), A419, M4 and vice versa. Alternative route 2) for HGVs (between 21 February 2022 and 26 February 2022 only) - via A429 (unaffected length), A433, A419, A4259, B4006, A4361, A4, A350, A429 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on: Closure I) 07 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 21 March 2022; Closure J) 10 February 2022 and the closure will be required until 14 March 2022. This Order which previously came into operation on 12 January 2022 will now recommence on 09 February 2022 and the closure will be required between required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for 3 days. Orders A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order K) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The above order, made on 26th January 2022 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create a public footpath over land at Cateomb House Farm, Hilmarton, SN119HR from OS Grid ret SU 0942 6573 leading broadly south westerly to OS Grid ref SU 0808 6414 with a width of 2 metres and an approximate length of 220 metres.
