SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Jockey Lane, Bromham; from its junction with High Street for its entire length to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation work to lay cables, build chambers and cabinets. No alternative route Is available. This Order will come into operation on 19 January 2022 and the closure will be required until 24 January 2022. B) Netherstreet (Part), Bromham; from its junction with St Ediths Marsh to its junction with Yard Lane to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cables. Alternative route via St Ediths Marsh, Devizes Road, Yard Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 January 2022 and the closure will be required until 01 February 2022. C) C235 (Part), Upton Scudamore; from its junction with The Drove for approximately 372m in an easterly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out install new palisade and associated works. Alternative route via 0235 (unaffected length) - A350 - A36 - C235 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 17 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. D) C222 UpperWestwood (Part), Westwood; from outside property No.139A Upper Westwood to outside property No.150 Upper Westwood to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement and associated works. Alternative route via C222 (unaffected length) - C217 - C222 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for 1 day. E) A3102 New Broughton Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Bath Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a westerly direction; F) A3102 Bath Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with New Broughton Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south eastedy direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out telecomms works, access with cherry picker and associated works. Alternative route for southbound traffic A3102 New Broughton Road (unaffected length), Bradford Road, A350 Fanners Roundabout, A350 Western Way, A365 Western Way, The Spa Roundabout, Spa Road, Snowberry Lane, Eastern Way, A3102 Sandridge Road, A3102 Bank Street, and vice versa for northbound traffic. This Order will come into operation on 23 January 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. For further information please contact Shift Traffic Events on 01652 638358. Orders A) to F) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
