SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Footpath 51, Trowbridge; from its junction with Roundstone Street to its junction with Duke Street to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via Roundstone Street, Church Street, Duke Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 November 2021 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 3 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600. B) Easton Lane (Part), Corsham and Chippenham; from its junction with C159 for approximately 1.1km in a north easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out road pavement resurfacing. Alternative route via C159, Bath Road, Methuen Park, and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 08 November 2021 and the closure will be required until 10 December 2021. C) Tramways (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Wastfield for approximately 240m in a westerly direction to enable Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works to lay cable. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 12 November 2021 and the closure will be required until 19 November 2021. D) C19 Ashton Road (Part), Steeple Ashton; from outside property known as Woodview for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction to enable BT to carry out pole renewal and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 12 November 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) Upper Potley, Corsham; from its junction with PotJey Lane to its junction with Westwells; F) Potley Lane, Corsham; from its junction with Valley Road to its junction with Upper Potley to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway repairs, ironwork adjustments and replacement of road markings. Alternative route: via Westwells, Westwells Road, 33109, A4, B3353, Valley Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 for 5 days. This Order will come into operation on 21 October 2021 and the closure will be required for 5 days. This Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for 5 days. J) School Lane (Part), Bromham; from its junction with New Road to its junction with The Leaze to enable Gigaclear Limited to cany out excavation work to lay cables, build chambers and cabinets. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 21 October 2021 and the closure will be required for 2 days. K) Newtown (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Conigre Hill to its junction with Wine Street to enable Openreach to carry out works to access joint boxes to repair cable. Alternative route via Newtown, Masons Lane, Bath Road, Winsley Road, Bradford Road, Tudeigh Hill, Turleigh, Belcombe Road and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 August 2021 will now recommence on 19 October 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. L) Granville Road, Melksham; from its junction with A350 to its junction with Riverside Drive; M) Portman Road, Melksham; from its junction with Granville Road to its junction with Riverside Drive; N) Riverside Drive, Melksham; for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out application of Micro Asphalt, adjustment of ironwork, reinstatement of road markings and associated maintenance works. No alternative route is available. This Order which previously came into operation on 14 September 2021 will now recommence on: A) 20 October 2021 and the closure will be required until 22 October 2021; B) 19 October 2021 and the closure will be required until 21 October 2021; C) 18 October 2021 and the closure will be required until 20 October 2021. Order A) has a maximum duration of 6 months, Orders B) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Orders K) to N) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

No. 1 - Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order 1 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Trowbridge Consolidation Order 2019 by revoking Map Schedule No. ES27 dated 17 August 2020 and replacing it by the insertion of revised Map Schedule No. ES27 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on Bellefield Crescent, Trowbridge - both sides - from the boundary of property No.22 Bellefield Crescent for a distance of 17 metres in a north westerly direction; Bellfield Crescent, Trowbridge - south east side - the full width between property Nos. 22 and 24 Bellefield Crescent. No.2 - Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order 2, which requires confirmation, under the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 the effect of which will be the following lengths of footpaths have been designated as a cycle track: Footpath 43, Trowbridge - from its junction with Footpath 44 for a distance of approximately 32 metres in an easterly direction; Footpath 44, Trowbridge - the complete length from its junction with A361 Hilperton Road to its junction with Footpath 43. No.3 - Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes the installation of "TOUCAN" Crossings (an un-segregated crossing for pedestrians and cyclists) in A361 Hilperton Road, Trowbridge (north side of carriageway) - the centre of the crossing is at a point approximately 30 metres north east of its roundabout junction with County Way; A361 Hilperton Road, Trowbridge (south side of carriageway) -the centre of the crossing is at a point approximately 29 metres north eats of its roundabout junction with County Way; A361 Hilperton Road - the centre of the crossing is at a point approximately 31 metres north east of its junction with Stancomb Avenue.
