The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 29/05/2020 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Alexander Terrace (Part), Corsham; from its property known as 24 Alexander Terrace for a distance of approximately 20 metres in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement of communication pipe. Alternative route: via Alexander Terrace (unaffected length) - B3353 Pickwick Road - Newlands Road - Arnolds Mead -Meriton Avenue and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 June 2020 and the closure will be required until 03 June 2020. For further information please contact Matthew Coles (Wessex Water) on 03456004600. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) Phase 1 A350 (Part), Lacock; from its junction with B4528 Showell to its junction with Corsham Road; C) Phase 2 A350 (Part), Lacock, Melksham and Melksham Without; from its junction with Cantax Hill to its junction with Avon Road to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via A350 (unaffected length) -A365 - B3353 - A4 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 May 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 29 May 2020. D) Stradbrook (Part), Bratton; from its junction with B3098 Melbourne Street to its junction with Church Road to enable Davis Groundwork to carry out sewer connection. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 11 May 2020 and the closure will be required until 15 May 2020. E) Lane End (Part), Corsley; from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 60 metres in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out an interim to permanent reinstatement. Alternative route: via Lane End (unaffected length) - Dertfords - Lower Whitbourne - A362 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 11 May 2020 and the closure will be required until 13 May 2020. For further information please contact Harry Reid (Wessex Water) on 03456004600. F) Hisomley (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with A3098 to its junction with The Hollow to enable Openreach to access overhead network for customers out of service. Alternative route: via The Hollow - A3098 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 May 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of
09:30 and 15:30 until 13 May 2020. For further

Orders (a) to (f) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
