Notice of Confirmation of Order Highways Act 1980 Section 119 & Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 Section 53(A)(2) The Wiltshire Council West Ashton 21 (Part) Diversion and Definitive Map & Statement Modification Order 2020

On 17 March 2020, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53(A)(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath at West Ashton School in the parish of West Ashton, running from OSGR ST 8790-5571 in a north-north-westerly direction for approx 38m, then leading generally eastfor approx 14m, before continuing north-north-west for approx 125m to OSGR ST 8788-5587 at St John's Church, to a line running from OSGR ST 8790-5571 in a north-westerly direction for approx 25m, before leading north-north-west for approx 47m and then continuing north-east for approx 105m to OSGR ST 8788-5587 at St John's Church, having a width of 1.5m on that section

between OSGR ST 8790-5571 and OSGR ST 8788-5573 and 2m between OSGR ST 8788-5573 and

OSGR ST 8788-5587, as shown on the order map and to change the Warminster and Westbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1953 accordingly. A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Rights of Way and Countryside, Communities and Neighbourhood Services, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Copies may be bought there at the price of £5. The order comes into force on 17 March 2020, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 27 March 2020, make an application to the High Court.

Following a decision from the Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Waste amendments have been made to the restrictions previously advertised on Adcroft Drive, Conigre, Eastbourne Gardens, Hornbeam Road, Keates Close, The Moldens, Osbourne Road, Silver Street Lane, St Johns Crescent and Victoria Road. A copy of the Order and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 30 March 2020.

Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: a) Lacock Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Pound Pill to its junction with C157 Ladbrook Lane. b) Ludmead Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Prospect for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. And to implement temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on B3353 Pickwick Road (Part), Corsham (eastbound side of carriageway only) at the following locations: c) for a distance of approximately 35m between the junctions of Alexander Terrace and Paul Street (Numbers 43 - 45); d) for a distance of approximately 50m between the junctions of Paul Street and Providence Lane (Numbers 51a - 55); e) for a distance of approximately 15m between the junctions of Providence Lane and Beechfields Road (Numbers 57 - 63). These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and participants whilst enabling the Corsham 10Km and 2Km Running Race to take place. This Order will come into operation on Sunday 26 April 2020 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the Race, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform. It is anticipated that closure (a) and restrictions (c), (d) and (e) will be required between the hours of 8:45 and 12:30 and closure (b) will be required between the hours of 11:00 and midday. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B3109 Bradford Leigh (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with Chalfield Road for a distance of approximately 1500 metres in a southerly direction to enable Miles Macadam to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated maintenance works. Alternative route: via B3109 (unaffected length) -B3105 - A363 - Lower Kingsdown Road - Blue Vein - Old Jockey and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 November 2019 will now recommence on 02 April 2020 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. 151 Rights of Way Modification Order 2020 The above order, made on 18 March 2020, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them a footpaths leading from MELK4 Murray Walk (OS Grid ref. ST9066 6453) alongside the River Avon in a north north easterly direction to the field known as 'Forty Acres' where south south east after the stream and south east and broadly east across MELW66, along field edge to Woodrow Road.
