Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to: Close temporarily to all vehicular traffic: a) New Canal, Salisbury; from its junction with Catherine Street to its junction with High Street; b) High Street, Salisbury; from its junction with New Canal to its junction with Silver Street/Bridge Street; c) Bridge Street, Salisbury; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Fisherton Street; d) Fisherton Street, Salisbury; from its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with A36 St. Paul's Roundabout; e) South Western Road, Salisbury; from its junction with Fisherton Street to its junction with Mill Road; f) Mill Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with South Western Road to its junction with Churchfields Road. And to close temporarily to all traffic travelling in the directions specified: g) A3094 (Part), Wilton, Quidhampton and Netherhampton; from its junction with A36 Wilton Road for a distance of approximately 1.4km to its junction with C320 Race Plain Road (southbound traffic only) h) A3094 (Part), Netherhampton, Salisbury; from its junction with C320 Race Plain Road for a distance of approximately 4km to its junction with Harnham Road/A3094 New Harnham Road (eastbound traffic only). Alternative route: via A3094 (unaffected length) - A338 - A36 and vice versa. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and competitors whilst enabling the Salisbury Half Marathon to take place.

This Order which previously came into operation on Sunday 7 October 2018 will now recommence on 29 September 2019 with the exception of vehicles officially involved in the marathon, vehicles being used for ambulance, police or fire brigade purposes, or the purpose of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, or with permission being given by a Police Constable in uniform. Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent any person from causing or permitting any vehicle that is a bus from entering the lengths of road specified in parts (u) and (v), or when turning left from part (n). Restrictions (a) to (n) are anticipated to be required between 12:00 - 15:30. Closures (o) to (t) are anticipated to be required between 11:45 - 12:15. 2. The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Salisbury) (20mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Order 1 under the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. IP84 and IQ84 dated 11th February 2013 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. IP84 and IQ84 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at any time on The Crescent - both sides - i) from its northern junction with Rowbarrow for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction ii) from its southern junction with Rowbarrow for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Order 2 - To introduce a 20mph speed limit zone on Barrow Close, Flint Way, Rowbarrow Lane, The Crescent, Woodbury Lane, Woodbury Rise - the complete lengths and Beaker Way and Woodbury Yard - the complete lengths (of adopted highway). Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C299 Barker Hill (Part), Sedgehill

and Semley; from its property known as Former Dairy Barn for a distance of approximately 130 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a water mains replacement. Alternative route: via C299 (unaffected length) - Ansty Lane - Gutch Common and vice versa. Alternative route: via Hamptworth Road (unaffected length) - Timberley Lane - Grove Lane - B3080 - B3078 - B3079 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2019 and the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 until 23 October 2019. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to introduce a temporary No Waiting at Any Time restriction applying to both sides of the following length of road: Stephenson Road, Salisbury; from its junction with Churchfields Road for a distance of approximately 400 metres in a southerly direction to enable Tarmac to carry out Carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing, patching works, kerbing & footway works along with road marking and adjustment of ironworks. This Order is made to ensure public safety during the period of the Carriageway reconstruction takes place. This Order will come into operation on 17 October 2019 and will be required until 18 November 2019. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
