The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 19/07/2019 quoting the reference number. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 15 (Part) Westbury; from its junction with Oldfield Road for a distance of approximately 180 metres in a northerly direction to enable Construction in the area around the right of way and underground mains drainage works. Alternative routes: An alternative route can be found around the southern boundary of the field. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 22 July 2019 for 06 months. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 125 Melksham Without; from its junction with Avro Way to its junction with Halifax Road to enable Realignment of several sections of clay sewer. Alternative routes: via Avro Way - Lysander Road - Lancaster Road - Halifax Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 22 July 2019 and will be required for 2 weeks. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A4 Chippenham Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Cross keys for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a westerly and easterly direction to enable Ringway to safely carry out Footway and Carriageway resurfacing including installation of road markings and associated works and refurbishment of the existing signalised junction. The speed limit restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This speed limit restriction will come into operation on 22 July 2019 and will be required until 26 September 2019. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Cross Keys, Biddestone and Corsham; from its junction with C159 to its junction with A4 Chippenham Road; B) Cross Keys, Corsham; from its junction with A4 Chippenham Road to its junction with Newlands Road; C) Newlands Road, Corsham; from its junction with Cross Keys to its junction with B3353 Pickwick Road to enable Ringway to carry out kerbing, drainage, footway surfacing, traffic signal works, carriageway resurfacing, road marking and adjustment of ironworks. Alternative route for (A): via C159 - A4 Chippenham Road and vice versa. Alternative route for (B) and (C): via B3353 Pickwick Road - A4 Chippenham Road and vice versa. F) Main Street (Part), Keevil; from property known as 4 Hobbs Hill for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to repair a carriageway defect. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke The County of Wiltshire (B3098, Bratton,

Cheverell Magne, Cheverell Parva, Coulston, Edington, Erlestoke and Westbury) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 and re-enact it, in part, for administrative purposes only and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B3098 Bratton Road - from a point 83 metres east of its junction with Bitham Park to a point 100 metres east of its junction with the entrance to the White Horse viewing area car park. Copies of the draft Orders, plan and Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Westbury Library, Westbury House, Edward Street BA13 3BD between the hours of 2pm to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am to 7pm Thursday and 9.30am to 1pm Saturday until 22 July 2019. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 23 (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Eastern Way for a distance of approximately 190m in an easterly direction to enable Construction of surface water detention basin and drainage. Alternative route: An alternative route will be provided to the south west or the definitive line. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which was due to expire on 01 July 2019 will now continue in force for a further six months or until completion of works, whichever is the earliest.
