We would like to thank the many residents who helped make Avon Road Jubilee street party such a success on June 2 in the Avon Road playing field. In particular, we would like to thank the following companies and individuals who donated and supported the event: Electric Works, electricians, Sprint-Systems, computers, the band Secondhand, Environomics, environmental advisor, Reading Matters, Roses, ironmongers, Devizes Toy Shop, Michael Oliver, violinist and W S Swift, plumbers.
We raised £280 for the Mayor’s Appeal and we will be planting a tree in the Caen Hill Jubilee Woods to commemorate the event.
