Diner missing out

I don’t know where Brian Minter (letters, June 7) has been going out to eat but he is missing some great pubs and great landlords at excellent pubs around Devizes (some of them owned by Wadworth’s).
A short drive to All Cannings, Poulshot, Sandy Lane, West Lavington, Beckhampton, amongst others, will find you a warm welcome, first-class home-cooked food, good service and all at a very reasonable price. We need to be supporting our local businesses in these difficult times, not knocking them.
