YOUR correspondent, chairman Spickernell, in your June 16 edition, made several interesting points, namely, “there is an ever-widening gap between those who are flourishing and those who are unemployed” and “there are concerns about inequality and fairness”.

She also quotes David Cameron’s advisor Steve Hilton as saying “the UK is literally ungovernable as a democracy while it remains in a club that has been corruptly captured by a self-serving elite” and “taking back power from arrogant, unaccountable, hubristic elites and putting it where it belongs. In the people’s hands.”

All a highly accurate assessment of our current government and the best reason to vote Remain!
