ON SATURDAY, June 25 the Devizes branch of the British Heart Foundation will be conducting a street collection in and around The Brittox and the Market Place.

Please help us to raise money to fund badly needed research by giving us an hour of your time during the morning as one of our collectors.

Over half a million people in the UK have been diagnosed with heart failure.

There is currently no cure but regenerative medicine offers real hope.

Living with severe heart failure is a constant fight for life.

Every year, thousands more families have to watch the people they love struggle with this devastating condition.

Through the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal, the BHF has funded £25 million of research into regenerative medicine across the UK. This work aims to help repair the heart following a heart attack, which would benefit the majority of heart failure patients.

During the last year the Devizes branch of the BHF has helped channel £7,000 to central funds to assist the BHF achieve its vision of a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from heart disease.

If you can spare us an hour of your time or if you have an idea or suggestion for fund raising I would be delighted to hear from you (telephone 01380 738034).
