WHEN standing in our magnificent Assembly Hall in Melksham I’m aware that we can just about fit 400 people in it.
Then I think about the fact that 10,000 refugee children have gone missing across Europe, that’s 25 Assembly Halls full, and that our Government, supported by Chippenham MP Michelle Donelan, have refused to do our part to help these kids.
These 10,000 children are now thought to be in the clutches of sex traffickers and other criminal gangs.
We are all shamed by the pathetic response of our government in failing to support bringing 3,000 children from the European camps to the UK.
Maybe Michelle Donelan would like to tell us why she voted to stop the UK helping these refugee children?
