I AM writing to you because I am disgusted by Jeremy Hunt’s lack of flexibility towards the junior doctors and the fact that he seems happy to take no responsibility for anything adverse that happens because of the strike.

He appears not to understand that the junior doctors are not standing up for themselves, they are genuinely concerned about resources allocated to the NHS and what that will mean in the future.

Jeremy Hunt has refused to listen to both the junior doctors and public opinion, showing himself to be totally out of touch with the general public and what is right for them and this country.

Instead he chooses to play power games and treat the junior doctors as if they are naughty children. He forgets all the good they have done in the past and their potential to do more good in the future.

He has forced them into this position and he will be to blame for any deaths that occur because of it.

The NHS needs help, not cuts and criticism. We are not all in this together, that much is clear. He is not God, he is a very silly man with an enlarged ego and no sense of responsibility towards the general public. He and his selfish, out of touch, in it for themselves party make me ashamed to be British.
