Democracy support
WE read and agreed with much Charmian Spickernell said about democracy in Wiltshire in your April 21 article. We are a new political party, aiming to challenge the Tory-led council in 2017.
We agree that democracy needs to be re-injected into our local council. Our national manifesto (on our website) outlines how we would do this at a national level and we are working on a local manifesto for publication in July.
This will also focus on better accountability and how to invigorate our local democracy.
