ON Friday night I and members of my family, including two discerning grandchildren, spent the evening being entertained by the Pewsey Vale Amateur Dramatic Society’s brilliant interpretation of Dick Whittington.
The production was professional and excellent in every way.
Fun was provided by Sailor and his Mate, fear by King Rat and his crew, excellent choreography, fantastic singing and dancing, a production that was equally enjoyed by grown-up children and their offspring. The sea and the fish scene was a piece of amateur theatre genius.
Thanks and congratulations for all of those who helped make such an enjoyable and memorable evening. It was just perfect for a cold winter’s night following the anti-climax after Christmas.
