HARD-WORKING people on low incomes depend upon tax credits in order to get by and afford essentials like rent, heating, food, warm winter clothing and school essentials for children.
These cuts are likely to have a devastating impact on many families. I urge the public to contact their local MPs demanding that they take a stand against George Osborne’s proposals. The Government needs to listen to local people and understand that it is shameful to make life even harder for many of their constituents.
It would also help if people could add their signature to the petition that has been organised by 38degrees. Go to 38degrees.org.uk/campaigns to do so – people power can work.
