Cash for drop-in
On behalf of the young people who use the ‘drop-in’ centre may I thank the Calne Bike Meet members for their very generous donation of £3,333.33p.
This will enable us to carry out the essential repairs and decoration to the premises which suffered damage as a result of the roof leaking.
The members of the Calne Bike Meet have always taken an interest in the local community and, in fact, presented two other cheques for the same amount to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and also to Julia’s House. Everything they raise brings financial aid to various charities each year and they work so hard to achieve this. Once again our thanks to them.
