Raw deal on bags
I SEE that from the beginning of October we will have to pay for plastic carrier bags from supermarkets. I’m sure most people will agree this will be a good thing for the environment when we see the pictures of the harm done by disregarded bags to wildlife etc.
One concern I have with this, will these carrier bags still carry the name of the supermarket ? Will we be paying for the bag and at the same time giving the stores free advertising?
