Economic patriotism is where the Government tries to buy British-made goods to create British jobs for British workers.
The Government has just ordered 3,000 police cars to be made abroad and imported into Britain when a suitable British alternative was available.
David Cameron thinks he will save money in the long term by constantly searching the world for cheaper, foreign-made products.
If the British economy is ever to revive then we must see a little bit more patriotism in the procurement policy of the British Government.
