Would you kindly let your readers know that disabled parking in Iceland is not free parking.
I have been shopping there for many years. I also asked the old gentleman who looked after parking and he said no, just put up your badge. Apparently he has retired and it has been taken over by someone who sneaks around without warning and slaps a penalty ticket on cars. When I found him I asked how much is the penalty? £80, he replied. After a lot of discussion, he cancelled my ticket. I spent £145 on groceries in the store and I said that I would never go there again as I am 85 years old. There is nothing to say the disabled had to pay.
