Make cuts elsewhere

WHEN visiting my local tip last week, I enquired of one of the employees when the new opening days and hours were coming into effect. I then asked him how this would affect him. He said it looked as if he would lose 25 per cent of his wages. If that happened he would have to find another job as he would no longer be able to support his family. I do realise that cuts have to be made. Would it not have been possible for some Wiltshire Council employees who are further up the pecking order to lose some of their expenses/allowances? While they would miss these I doubt if the reduction would make them unable to support their families.
