Churches Together in Malmesbury (CTiM) would like to thank everyone who very generously contributed towards the Christmas vouchers scheme this year, in whatever way.

Each year CTiM like to give a Christmas present to families on a low income in the area, so they can enjoy celebrating this special time of year too and know that the local community cares for them. This is done by giving vouchers that can be exchanged for food at the local Co-op stores. This year the churches between them raised more than £2,000 and we have been able to help 60 local families again. This is a great example of the church in action in our community.

CTiM has also been involved with the establishment of the Malmesbury and District Foodbank, which has helped a significant number of people who have not been able to afford the basics. The voucher scheme is designed to provide a bit extra at Christmas for those who are struggling to make ends meet.
