In light of very recent news regarding Tesco closing some 43 of its stores soon with the loss of what must be many thousands of jobs nationwide, one has to ask whether our local MP Mrs Claire Perry (or “Calamity Claire” as I believe she is now known at Westminster following the post-Christmas train fiasco), chose the wrong brand of supermarket in which to hold her first 2015 surgery last Friday?

One has to ask, in the light of her party continually reminding us just how well our economy is doing, whether it wouldn’t have been better to have chosen another one?

Yet, on second thoughts, perhaps it was for the best, as probably many of the staff will be at the front of the queue to very unfortunately see her for employment advice.
