A sourdough loaf is £1.50 at Tesco in the town centre, but is £1.80 at Tesco in Pewsham.
As the two are supplied by the same lorries, and as business rates are less away from the town centre, perhaps the executives of Tesco could explain to us how the difference of only one mile makes for a price increase of 20 per cent?
