Last Friday I had the privilege once again of attending the Salamander final day ceremony at Chippenham Fire Station.
Over the past 18 months I have attended a number of these events across the county and each time I am always impressed by the dedication and commitment by both the young people attending and the fire officers who give up their valuable time to instruct and give vital team and personal skills, to enable them to have the confidence to go into employment.
As we see more companies wishing to come to Wiltshire and bring valuable new job prospects, it is vital that our local communities can take advantage of the wide and varied job opportunities, courses like the Salamander, and new apprentice schemes which will play a vital role in the continuing positive growth of Wiltshire.
