Do you recall acts?
Following the demise of Lilleys – formerly The Flamingo Club at Westwells Road, Corsham – I, along with a few others who were patrons of this club in the 1970s, have been trying to remember famous (now) acts who performed there.
One name in particular sticks in my mind, that of Marty Wilde, who I think was there in 1972. Perhaps you may have readers who were there at the time and can confirm this?
It would be interesting to hear of other people’s memories of famous acts who appeared there.
