People celebrate the news that the appeal over the plan for 350 homes at Coate Bridge has been dismissed
A huge debt of gratitude is due to the persistence of our leaders and campaigners for winning the two-year battle of Coate Bridge. We have fought many times before, and always lost. So what has made the difference? The voice of reason has never had any effect until now.
Two things stand out. First, local support for the Devizes Neighbourhood Plan, and second, the towering figure of our indomitable MP Claire Perry who personally intervened at the highest possible level.
