Now the Scottish people have rejected independence and are going to get even further devolved powers, it is time for English regions to be given proper devolution too. Possibly a Wessex regional assembly could be included as part of the package.
I would ask readers to write to their MPs in support of these proposals. What is good for London is not always good for other parts of the country.

Could someone tell me more about the Calne Revision Court and when it was abolished and more about the case of Milner v the three Kings mentioned in From the Files 100 years ago mentioned in the September 26 edition of the Gazette & Herald?
