Thanks to all the people who helped to make the car boot sales in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance on Marlborough Common such a success.
More than 90 cars on September 21 brought a profit of £960 and during the year we have raised £4,600 and filled tins and buckets which will be counted by the main Wiltshire Air Ambulance Trust and the result will be announced soon.
Our thanks to all those who gave so many tombola prizes, especially the shops which gave monthly prizes: Carries’ Men’s Hair, Foxy Ladies’ Hair Design, The Lamb, Marlborough Building Supplies, The Merchant’s House, Rainbows DIY and Waitrose.
Marlborough supporters’ group is invited to the unveiling of the new helicopter in Salisbury on October 24.
Next year’s car boot sales will start on March 15.
Mary Claridge, Daniel Claridge, Alec Light & Audrey Peck Marlborough supporters of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
