A cause for concern?
One of the most striking aspects of Monday’s Panorama programme on the child abuse scandal in Rotherham was the failure of the various authorities to prevent this.
In particular the programme highlighted the robust approach of local government departments to the matter, defending themselves and criticising complainants.
Since its inception Wiltshire Council’s use of the same strategy has been rather noticeable. Should we be concerned?
