Oh dear, Mr Myers of the Urchfont Community Speed Watch Group (July 3) does seem to jump from one extreme hypothetical example to another.
However, the bottom line surely is that he has every right, and is quite entitled, to break the law if he so wishes, and I am sure that the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg would back him all the way to the local magistrate’s court. You just carry on Mr Myers, I can only hope your luck doesn’t run out with that 55ft long lorry travelling at a reasonable 55mph and surely didn’t need overtaking on a single carriageway road.
Nev Cooper, Woodborough.
